Course Objectives The basic aim of this course is to define entrepreneurship concept and logistics in international area and to gain perspective about Turkish firms by providing the basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Sized Entrepreneurs (SME) in logistics and Turkey.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe basic concepts of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial specifications.
  • Define the SME concept and its specifications, give samples from SMEs in Turkey.
  • Figure out the SMEs’ place in Turkey and its importance.
  • Have basic knowledge about types of logistics firms in Turkey and evaluate their entrepreneurial specifications.
Course Content Definition of entrepreneurship and logistics in international scope, types of firm and entrepreneurial characteristics of SME`s and current statistics about entreprising SME`s.
