Course Objectives The finance sources to be utilized for financing foreign trade such as Eximbank, KOSGEB loans, forfeiting , factoring and leasing will be taught. The accounting principles to be applied to foreign currency transactions will also be conveyed to the students
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Know international trade transactions and provide short, medium and long-term loans supported by Banks and the other instıtutions for export/import financing and foreign exchange earning transactions.
  • Discuss the concepts of international trade financing and provide the best financial instruments for exporters and importers.
  • Perform transactions according to the accounting principles of export and import transactions.
Course Content Foreign exchange, cambio and effective currency concepts, asset and liability accounts denominated in foreign currency, accounting of export and import transactions, credits of Turk Eximbank, factoring, forfeiting, leasing.
