Course Objectives Learning the principles of using sound and music in visual design. Searching the cooperation possibilities of music as an instrument of expression with visual design. Acquiring musical awareness.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Knows and differentiates between main types and schools of music,
  • Knows and uses types of effect,
  • Applies the learned knowledge and technique.
  • Effectively and accurately uses technique and knowledge over related disciplines.
Course Content The use of sound and music in visual design; the classical western music history, the musical education that ranges from modern music modern to electronic music, alternative genres, and effect types. Making use of case studies and applications, the students are encouraged to acquire the ability to convert their musical awareness into a language.
