Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach students to understand and interpret basic economic indicators. For this purpose, it will be taught how to handle and use selected indicators by focusing on economic indicators.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The main indicators used in the economy, to teach how to evaluate basic indicators with relevant economic analysis.
  • Addressing the implementation of economic policies
Course Content Goods, labor and financial markets; economic and financial indicators; GDP, GNP,growth, inflation, CPI, PPI, GDP deflator, unemployment rates, labor force participation rate, balance of payments, current account balance interest rates, exchange rates, budget, budget deficit
