Course Objectives This course aims to introduce the basic concepts of contract management related to international logistics and foreign trade as theoretical knowledge. Important contract elements of international logistics and foreign trade will be taught within the scope of international contract management. In addition, applications and documents related to international trade and contract management will be introduced. In this context, by introducing the concepts and sub-concepts of international contract management, it is aimed that the students understand the effect of contract management on international logistics. The course will start with the general introduction of the international logistics infrastructure and continue with the teaching of important practices related to contract management. The course will also provide basic information on the development of international sales strategies, sales management and information technologies used in international sales within the scope of contract management.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Recognizes and understands foreign market entry procedures in terms of contract management.
  • Perceives and understands contract management in terms of international logistics and foreign trade.
  • Knows pricing and sales regulation processes in terms of contract management.
Course Content Methods of entry into foreign markets, incoterms, terms of payment, international commercial documents, international contracts and contract management.
