Course Objectives | This course aims to help the students of Faculty of Engineering and Mathematics Department of Faculty of Arts and Science acquire the basic theory and application of a research based technical report including proper style (APA), organization, format, language, argumentation and reasoning skills and produce a well written report at the level of B2* (Independent User) as stated in Common European Framework of Reference. |

Course Content | Research-based report writing skills; types of reports and models, the choice of topics, formation of thesis statements, writing paraphrases and summaries, preparation of report outlines, evaluation of print and electronic sources, in-text and end-of-text citation, report presentation in oral and written format. |
