Course Objectives The general aim of the course is to help students gain basic English language skills in order to communicate at level A2* (Basic User) as stated in Common European Framework of Reference.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Reading: • read and follow instructions, • read basic texts, like brochures, and find main ideas, • read basic texts about past and grasp details,
  • Listening: • find the main point of the listening texts, • grasp the flow of the listening texts, • identify use of English and pronunciation through listening,
  • Speaking: • talk about past and present events, • compare and contrast two things or two people, • order in a café,
  • Writing: • write short stories by using the given prompts, • write short texts for different purposes,
