Course Objectives Teaching types of partnerships; comparing types with respect to manner of creation, legal entity, management, termination and the size of businesses; the basic knowledge of corporate attributes such as legal entity;the knowledge of functions of negotiable instruments as a substitute of money or as an extension of credit, and form and content of negotiable instruments; be able to classify negotiable instruments; and be able to explain the requirements for issuance and delivery of a negotiable instrument.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Have an understanding of types of partnerships; compare types with respect to manner of creation, formality, governmental regulation, ownership, transfer of ownership, legal entity, management, termination and the size of businesses.
  • Have the basic knowledge of corporate attributes such as legal entity, creation by statute, and limited liability of shareholders; acquire the knowledge of functions of negotiable instruments as a substitute of money or as an extension of credit, and form and content of negotiable instruments; be able to classify negotiable instruments.
  • Be able to explain the requirements for issuance and delivery of a negotiable instrument.
Course Content Definition and properties of securities, securities law, legal attributes of securities, payment and demonstration, limitation.
