Course Objectives The objective of this course is to learn about tourism geography, time zones, climate and weather, continents, regions, countries, and major tourist destinations of the world.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to examine the main concepts of the geography of tourism
  • Will be able to understand the historical background of the geography of tourism
  • Will be able to explain the main aspects of physical and human geography
  • Will be able to understand the logic behind the representation of places in the context of tourism
Course Content Tourism geography, time zones, climate and weather, continents, regions, countries, major tourist destinations of the world, tourism organizations in different countries, the negative and positive effects of tourism development.
