Course Objectives | The aim of this course is to teach the fourth-year students to translate from French into Turkish within the scope of the French certificate program launched in the Translation-Interpreting Department. The contents of the course are to translate French and Turkish texts selected from various occupational fields, from literature and from current issues during the lesson together with the student and to correct and assess during the lesson the text translations given as homework; make interpreting exercises during the lesson; to make a preparation for consecutive and simultaneous interpreting through discussion and commenting on the films watched. |
