Course Objectives | The main objective of the course is to improve the simultaneous interpreting skills of the students through extensive interpreting exercises. Students are expected to develop strategies on how to manage their stress and how to cope with different types of speakers and different accents of non-native English speakers. |

Course Content | Simultaneous interpreting of 10-15 minute-longs speeches on various topics; brief history of conference interpreting in the world and Turkey; mock conference exercises; video conference practices; ethics and standards in conference interpreting. |
