Course Objectives The main purpose of the Public Administration and Management Theories course is to provide the student with detailed information about the basic theories of public administration and management approaches. The aim of this course is to understand the details of Public Administration and management theories; to understand the relationship between public administration approaches and today's system; to develop the ability to research and develop ideas on public administration theories; to conduct research on public administration approaches and presenting this research in front of the community and conducting a discussion on this issue; to be able to scan resources on Public Administration and management theories and to do qualitative/quantitative research.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will know the basic theories in the field of public administration and administration.
  • Students will comprehend the relationship between public administration and issues such as the concept of state, globalization and bureaucracy and gain the ability to develop ideas on these issues.
  • Students will have ability to discuss public administration approaches and conduct research in this field.
