Course Objectives The aim of the course is to explore the relations between the US and the EU within a historical context.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • to acquire knowledge on the historical evolution of the EU-US relations;
  • to understand the role of Turkey in transatlantic relations and its changing nature
  • to be familiar with the problematic areas in transatlantic relations and to understand the reasons behind them
Course Content The transatlantic relations before and after the Cold War and the role of Turkey in transatlantic relations.
