Course Objectives | • To develop a range of social research methods, techniques and skills and how they have been used to address particular research questions in economics; • the contrasting epistemological perspectives that underpin social science research; • survey design and analysis; • a range of quantitative methods of analysis; • a range of qualitative research methods; • ethical problems and issues related to social research, and management research in particular; • project planning and development; • how research in various areas of economics have developed. |
