Course Objectives To raise students' awareness of crisis and crisis management in the public sector.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • have knowledge about both the differentiated nature of the concept of crisis and the concepts of created/encountered crisis and crisis management in public administration.
  • The level of knowledge and awareness about different areas of crisis management, concepts such as risk and disaster and crisis management increases.
Course Content Crisis in public administration; theories of crisis; crisis process; risk management; disaster management; political crisis.
