Course Objectives This course aims at analysing different types of plays in Western Drama, historical and social events preparing the emergence of paritular types and the effects of Western Drama on Contemporary British Drama.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • comprehend the contemporary dramatic developments and the conditions that prepared the developments in contemporary drama,
  • know the types and features of different plays written in the 20th and the 21st century,
  • can comment on the plays from historical and cultural contexts,
  • can write an academic paper on the selected plays.
