Internship and Cooperative Education
ECTS and THEQF Information Guide
Atılım University regards internship as a key component of education in terms of helping our students gain experience before graduation, learn about professional business life, and understand how to practice their theoretical knowledge.
In order for our students to experience such an important aspect at the most competent institutions in the sectors related to their fields, internship agreements are made by the Directorate of Career Planning and Cooperative Education, and the Alumni Affairs Office, and consultancy services are provided to our students about the most suitable internship places.
Within the scope of the Cooperative Education Program, an optional program for our students, our students are granted with the opportunity to combine the theoretical knowledge acquired at the university with practice in the business world through uninterrupted employment (approximately for a period of 7 months, combining the internship period with a single semester) at contracted workplaces. Our students are encouraged to participate in the Student Internship Mobility Program and the AIESEC, as well as making use of International Internship Opportunities within the scope of the Extended Erasmus University Charter. Our students interning abroad have increased opportunities for employment abroad after graduation, and their experiences abroad give them an edge in this regard. Click here for more information.
