To represent Atılım University Foreign Languages department, Bengü Cilalı attended a professional development event called “Oxford Days 2013: Enhancing Learning in Class and at Home” which took place in Belek on May 10th and 11th, 2013. The speakers of the event were Robert E. Grady, Paul Seligson, Gordon Lewis, Robert McLarity and Sarah Aitken. The topics were mostly about learner autonomy, quality assurence in language education programmes, EAQUALS standards and accreditation procedures, changing paradigms in teacher development, plans for effective EAP teaching and enhancing learning in class and at home.
