The chairperson of the Department of Basic English, Asst. Prof. Dr. Alper Şahin held a workshop titled "Rethinking Performance Assessment: From Design to Practice" on 10.06.2021 with the participation of School of Foreign Languages directors, deputy directors and department heads of 12 universities from Turkey. In this training, he shared the “rating scale model for written and oral performance evaluations in foreign language classes” that he has been working on for about 10 years.
