Announcement About The Department Of Basic English Summer School

Dear Students,
In the 2020-2021 academic year Summer School, A and Prefac courses will be opened. D, C and B courses will not be opened. Summer school classes of A and Prefac students will start on Monday, July 12, 2021. Classes will be held online between 12-17 July 2021, between 26 July-26 August 2021 classes will be held face-to-face in the classrooms in our School of Foreign Languages building .
Due to the limited summer school period for the 2020-2021 academic year:
- There will be no DBE-TV activities during the summer school (for A/Prefac levels),
- Club lessons will be given by the instructor of the relevant course within the courses (for A level),
- Course attendance bonus will be calculated over regular course attendance and will be given to students who attend at least 50% of the courses, based on their attendance percentage (For A/Prefac levels),
- Homework score will be CLMS 5%, In Class Homework 5% (A level).
Summer school registrations will be made on 5-7 July 2021 and ENG003 must be selected on Atacs on the same dates. Students who do not register for the ENG003 course through Atacs will not be able to attend the courses. Necessary information about summer school registrations can be found in the links below.
