Education / Teaching Laboratories

  • Family/Parent Interview Laboratory This laboratory is where initial interviews with families and children applying to our units are conducted. Students will gain knowledge and skills in conducting family interviews and communicating with families.

  • Child Development Assessment and Monitoring Laboratory In this laboratory, methods and techniques for assessing/intervening from the perspective of the child and the primary caregiver are determined. It provides an educational environment where families/primary caregivers are informed.

  • Child Parent/Family Support Laboratory This laboratory involves one-on-one work with children and families who have undergone initial assessment and monitoring. Students will engage in internships, practical applications, and observations in this laboratory.

  • Child Development Practice and Research Laboratory Students will participate in the practical and active components of their courses in this laboratory, conducted by course instructors and/or field experts. Applied courses will also be conducted in this laboratory.
