Multiple Faculty Positions Available (Assistant and Associate Professor Levels)

Atilim University’s Department of Civil Engineering announces the opening of multiple faculty positions at the ranks of Assistant and Associate Professor beginning as early as February 1, 2018. Successful candidates are expected to have strong computational and/or experimental experience in any area of Civil Engineering, but preference will be given to those specializing in structural, hydraulic and water resources, and geotechnical fields.

All candidates should possess effective undergraduate and graduate teaching skills, have an active research agenda, and be able to obtain funding from external agencies. The ability to engage in collaborative research with existing members of our department and an interest in proposing cross-disciplinary projects with members of other departments is highly desirable. All candidates should have completed a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering by the time of application. Screening will begin on November 1, 2017, and applications will be considered until the positions are filled.

The Civil Engineering Department, with its approximately 550 undergraduate students, 40 graduate students, and 10 full-time faculty members, is the largest department in the Faculty of Engineering.
